Building something better, together
The JVCLT grew out of an existing urban multigenerational intentional community in the heart of Guelph, the Junction Village Guelph (JVG). At the JVG, we believe that we are better together, whether through sharing resources, ideas, or experiences. After over 15 years of the JVG creating spaces for community connection and mutual flourishing, the community land trust project was initiated as a means of carrying on and expanding this foundation of collaboration and reciprocity, while ensuring that the land is held in perpetuity for generations to come.

The JVCLT is a citizen-led initiative that aims not only to develop permanent affordable housing solutions, but also seeks to transform how we live in community. With connection at our core, we strive to build caring, loving relationships with one another and with the Land on which we live.
