Ana Gascon
Architect, green building designer, and community collaborator.
Ana is a licensed architect with the Ontario Association of Architects (OAA) and a Certified Passive House Designer (CPHD). She thrives challenging the status quo and is passionate about transforming how we understand and experience housing in Canada.

Over the course of the past decade, Ana has been highly involved in community building projects. She was a friend of GrassRoutes Cohousing, where she learned about alternative methods for creating housing and community. In particular, she is interested in continuing to explore Mutual Home Ownership (MHO) models currently being implemented in the UK.

Additionally, Ana is invested in integrating sustainable design strategies with long term affordable housing, using materials that are beneficial for both human health and environmental well-being, and that will allow communities to achieve net zero carbon emissions.

In addition to being an interim board member with the JVCLT, Ana is a board member at the Ontario Natural Building Coalition (ONBC), and is the current chair for the Grand Valley Society of Architects (GVSA).
