John Wright

Business owner, community builder, advocator and educator.

John is a retired business owner from Guelph. He has over ten years of experience on not-for-profit boards and foundations. John has a passion for building community, education, and advocating for marginalized groups and individuals in our society. He has considerable experience in teaching, training, presenting, and fundraising. Coming from an IT and software development background, he enjoys using technology in all the work he does.

John loves the outdoors, especially backcountry canoe trips.

John operates from a mindset of abundance and eagerly anticipates continuing to assist the JVCLT in acquiring and stewarding many properties, as well as building a variety of affordable housing alternatives.
